I am a mom. WOW. 

Just dropping some lines to let you know that my baby was born on April 20th. This is going to be a short post, not only because I am dying to go stare at my baby boy while he sleeps (yes, it's a boy! -and yes, i do stare at him while he sleeps...), but also because there are no words to explain this amazing experience. No matter how wonderful anyone tell you it is, it still exceeds your expectations. 

World: this is my now 6-week old Fausto. He is my absolute favorite thing in the world. Incredibly handsome, super smart and funny, extremely cute, so adorable, totally perfect. He is the bestest!

Baby forecast: Showers

Baby Mather is already being spoiled. Our baby bump has been honored with 4 beautiful baby showers (4 and a half, if I count on a family reunion we had in Ecuador just before leaving -although not an official 'baby shower', our baby was "showered" with love and gifts from my family from out of town).

It's been one year already. Happy birthday, Blog.

I have a good excuse for the abandonment of the last months: pregnancy. I know, why haven't I written more about this quite important journey? simple -I have had a very challenging 7 months, with lots of pregnancy symptoms that made any activity on the social scene impossible. Here I am though, at 31 weeks, waiting for the big day and ready to summarize last summer, fall, and, of course, our ongoing winter.
